If you get the same result, what sliders are you using? Do you use any mods or cc other than the sliders? Please don't link them, but it's fine to name them unless they involve adult content.
Theres a chin width, eyebrow thickness, stomach/hips/waist size one. When I went into game the newly installed sim no longer had a cleft chin. Test on a new sim that has never been exposed to these sliders you don't have to save your progress. Theres actually a lot of different face and body sliders on mod the sims. I created a sim with a cleft chin, exported him (share without upload), deleted the 5 sims 3 caches, moved my cleft chin slider package to my desktop, moved the shared sim file from the export folder to the sims 3/download folder, started my launcher, installed the sim. They should be deleted every time you add or remove content to your game folder, and also whenever you're troubleshooting (and regularly even if you're not troubleshooting). I have one face slider installed - one for a cleft chin.
What kind of install is this: macOS or Windows Origin, Steam, disc, or something else?
